Our locations

Our fjord - Bjørnafjorden

Bolaks produces all its salmon in Bjørnafjorden, which is located in Bjørnafjorden municipality. Our hatchery and broodstock sites, egg production facilities and sister company AS Sævareid fiskeanlegg are located in the same fjord where our founder first fished wild salmon to develop the unique Bolaks strain in the 1970s.

We are committed to being a player with a high degree of transparency to maintain the trust of the local community where we operate. We have added hyperlinks to Barentswatch at each of our sites, so that stakeholders can familiarize themselves with health status and other relevant information about our production.

Click on the locations on the map above to get to know where we produce our salmon.
